	HUMIDEM CT DUAL HUMIDIFIER

			The heated humidifier, CT DUAL HUMIDIFIER, is a medical device controlled by a servomotor and designed to humidify and heat respiratory gases which are delivered to newborns, pediatrics or adults. The temperature and humidity of the water contained in the humidification chamber is delivered by the system through a gas mixture, by bypass, to the patient via the breathing circuit. Through the use of a single heated wire in the inhalation and exhalation tube of the respiratory system, condensation can be controlled within the tube, providing the gas mixture with a higher percentage of humidity relative to the patient’s level and thus avoiding the need to drain both tubes of the breathing circuit.
